Silavadee, a luxury resort in Thailand, has announced the celebration of its 16th anniversary. Looking over the past year of developments and experiences that have marked the year, they invite guests to join a host of exclusive activities and festivities throughout the month.

As they approach their 16th Anniversary, the team at Silavadee is proud to reflect on their achievements and innovations as a deluxe destination in the heart of Thailand. Khun Chonlada Soonthonvasu, the Managing Director, has operated this independent, family-owned luxury resort since May 2008. Since then, it has stood as a prime example of Thai hospitality, winning a host of awards, including those from the Travel Asia Awards, Hotel Travel Awards, Hotels.com, Luxury Lifestyle, and more. In our 16th Anniversary celebration, Silavadee Pool Spa Resort is honored to be the first hotel in Koh Samui to receive Travelife Gold Certification.

The celebrations of the anniversary kicked off on the 1st May 2024. The hotel invited its in-house guests to participate in a host of activities. Every year, they hold a monk blessing ceremony at The Height Restaurant, and alms giving ceremony in the lobby, and continue their annual tradition of releasing sea turtles at the beach. In the evening, there was an anniversary cocktail reception at the Star Bar followed by the Silavadee Signature Firework Show, wrapping a bow on a day of festivities and celebration.
