Seeming to rise out of the island jungle and directly facing the Gulf of Thailand, Silavadee Pool Spa Resort reflects the spectacular natural beauty of Koh Samui. There is everything you need to completely unwind, but the Koh Samui nightlife in Lamai and Chaweng is just a taxi ride away.

Why We Love It

♥ Jaw-dropping views of the Gulf at every turn
♥ Wide range of room, suite, and villa options
♥ Excellent range of restaurants and bars

Location

Silavadee Pool Spa Resort Koh Samui sits in the southeastern tip of the island, near the town of Lamai. As the islands former resort center, Lamai has a few good nightlife options, although it is quieter than Chaweng. The main town area of Lamai is about a 40-minute walk from the hotel, but less than a 10-minute drive. The hotel offers a shuttle service to both Lamai and Chaweng, so it’s easy to get to where the party is.

Style & Design

The decor throughout the resort is both modern and timeless. Natural materials like wood and stone dominate, and large windows throughout the resort highlight the beauty of the Gulf of Thailand. The villas sit nestled among the jungle, with the restaurants and pool area all facing the ocean.

Facilities

The resort has a wide selection of restaurants and bars, each designed to capture the beauty of its surroundings. Head to Sun Deck for some of the best panoramic views on the island, or book one of the four tables at Sand, which are sunken into the beach, for an unforgettably romantic dining experience. The Height serves the best traditional Thai food, while Moon, a casual breakfast room with gorgeous views, serves an excellent buffet breakfast every morning, with extremely fresh Western and Thai options.

There is an award-winning luxury spa and a small fitness center, with machines directly overlooking the ocean. Muay Thai, yoga, snorkelling, and cooking classes are also on offer to keep you occupied throughout the day.

Rooms

All of the rooms, suites, and villas on-site are large and impeccably decorated. All come with big bathtubs, powerful rain showers, and premium coffee machines, but each room includes its own special touches.

The Jacuzzi rooms make for a great treat, but the private pool villas take things a step further. The Oceanfront pool villas are especially beautiful, with infinity pools that seem to stretch into the sea. The two-bedroom Duplex Ocean Villa houses four people, and is a great choice for groups of friends or two couples traveling together.
